Sweet Little Girl Turns One! A Country Girl Collections Cake Smash Shoot- Vernon, CT

 I have known Kerry for most of my life!

She has been my sister's very best friend since we were little.
I have always looked up to her and find me myself still doing the same!
 

Last year, not only did she have a gorgeous winter wedding,

She also found out she was expecting a baby girl with her husband Noah!
I had the pleasure of photographing a maternity shoot with these two.
And I just love every picture that we took.

And now her beautiful baby girl, Evy, is turning one!

I was so excited to do a cake smash shoot with Kerry and her sweet daughter!

It was a hot, windy day but we made it work on top of Fox Hill Tower in Vernon, Connecticut!

 

Evy loved the décor that I brought with me, especially the balloons!

A Bright Beach Inspired Wedding- New Haven, Connecticut

On June 29th,

I had the pleasure of decorating Amarante's Sea Cliff in New Haven, Connecticut.  

 

My two wonderful assistants and I arrived around one in the afternoon to start the transformation of the waterfront grand ball room! We were busy for hours- laying out burlap table runners, wrapping silverware with burlap and starfish, putting out the many centerpieces, and making sure everything looked perfect for the special day.

 

We wish the bride and groom, Shannon and Jesse, a lifetime of happiness!

Engagement Shoot Giveaway!

A few months ago, my dear friend Marisa from Sassy Mouth Photography came to me with the idea of participating in an engagement shoot giveaway. Anyone who knows me knows that I love the gift of giving - almost to a fault! So, within minutes I replied with a quick 'Yes!'.  The lucky winners were two beautiful teachers, Diane and Dave. After emailing back and forth, I found out that Diane loves the beach and all things rustic- so it was a match made in heaven! I put together a special collection for these two with lots of burlap, lace, sand, and shells! I up-cycled an old, wooden pallet to make an awesome personalized sign, and many other one-of-a-kind pieces for these lucky winners! Although I could not make it to the beach for the day of the shoot- bummer- I am in love with how the pictures came out! Here are some shots of my engagement shoot décor!

 

 

There were many other awesome Connecticut vendors who participated in this giveaway as well.
